Here are the advantages of EDC17 programming in
BOOTBENCH Mode!
TIME SAVING!
It is no longer necessary to remove the lower cover of the control unit to weld one or more BOOT wires.
This means faster repair time of the control unit and NO BREAKING RISK!
It is sufficient to connect 2 more wires to the comb of the control unit in addition to the power supplies and the 2 CAN lines. So in total 6 wires!

If the microcontroller is written, an automatic BDM block removal procedure will start which will leave the microcontroller OPEN for a safe writing of the Data Flash and/or Program Flash.
At the end of the writing operations it is necessary to reset the BDM block by pressing the "ENABLE MICRO PROTECTION" button.
New AUTOMATIC PROGRAM FLASH RESTORE function in case of errors. The correct Program Flash file for the vehicle is automatically downloaded from the MRPPAD server and written to the control unit to restore its operation.

If you need to repair dashboard you cannot erase or substitute original memory with recoved one. The solution is cloning the originale one (both eeprom array and page-id) on our NEW 35128 EMULATOR. In Programmer menu under 35XXX and 35128 EMULATOR, is available a GUIDED PROCEDURE which helps you to clone the original memory to emulator in a very simple way.
