WARNING: It is necessary to read the Data Flash and Program Flash, before carrying out any writing operation.

If the microcontroller is written, an automatic BDM block removal procedure will start which will leave the microcontroller OPEN for a safe writing of the Data Flash and/or Program Flash.

At the end of the writing operations it is necessary to reset the BDM block by pressing the "ENABLE MICRO PROTECTION" button.

Clicking on the "MANUAL" icon (top right) are available ready diagrams for units that mount this type of microcontroller. For example:

The programming function for NEC microcontrollers is available both in the "PROGRAMMER" function (menu available by selecting any brand, in the menu concealed on the left) , both in the menu specific for each of the supported control units; for example for Fiat Computer Body it's available a new item from menu "NEC DIRECT" with the connection schema and the ECU MEMORIES function which enables reading and writing functions.

ATTENTION: The program does not allow to read the blocked microcontrollers.
